Alltel has announced that its new low-end LG Banter slider phone . The Banter features a full-QWERTY sliding keyboard, QVGA display, and a 1.3 megapixel camera. The Banter is nearly identical to the LG Rumor2 recently announced by Sprint, with the same internal features but a slightly different design.

Nokia introduces the most rugged Mobile Phone to date dubbed the Nokia 3720 Classic. It was designed with a built-in IP-54 standards and water, dust and shock resistant. It boast a 2.2-inch QVGA LCD display and measures 115 x 47 x 15.3 mm and a 94g weight.

There is a 2 megapixel camera with a LED flash that can be used as a Flash Light and specs like an integrated media player, Bluetooth 2.1, FM radio, 20MB internal memory and a microSD card slot for expansion of your memory. The latest rumours claimed that Samsung Omnia Pro will be hitting the market later this year and now we’ve found out that the just leaked Samsung Louvre B7610 handset is actually Omnia Pro. This Windows Mobile 6.1 device has just been pictured officially and you should know that it comes with an AMOLED touchscreen display and a sliding QWERTY keypad.

The phone’s specs list is quite impressive and it includes 2 user interfaces: Pro and Media, that can be switched with the aid of a media key plus HSDPA/HSUPA, GPS, WiFi with DLNA, a 800 MHz CPU and a 5.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash.

There’s also TV out on board, a 3.5mm headset jack, video acceleration, Bluetooth, FM radio, microUSB and 1GB of internal memory, a microSDHC slot (cards up to 32GB) and a 1500 mAh battery. We’ll see Omnia Pro on the market in August 2008 and it might have a price of under 500 EUR.

If you’re willing to pay $59.99 for a clamshell that looks like the one below, you’ll be able to buy Samsung Mantra via Virgin Mobile. Keep in mind that this phone comes without a contract and its specs list features Bluetooth, color displays and a VGA camera.

Remember the Toshiba TG01 Handset that we announced here some months ago? Well it has been spotted on Orange Website, just in case you were living under a rock, Orange is a mobile service provider in the United Kingdom. The handset popped up on the carrier’s website with a coming soon banner and Toshiba is planning to launch the phone on July 9th.

Toshiba’s TG01 will be the first smartphone to hit the market sporting a Qualcom Snapdragon chipset. There is a huge 4.1-inch Touchscreen display with a 800 x 480 resolution and a 9.9mm thick case. There are also specs such as a GPS Navigation, WiFi Connectivity, 3.1 megapixel camera plus built-in Facebook and YouTube apps.

Just a few days ago Nokia announced the Nokia 3710 Fold clamshell designed mobile phone. The Nokia 3710 Fold features a bright LCD display with a user interface that is ideal for displaying the pictures and videos taken with the 3.2 megapixel camera.

The Nokia 3710 fold comes with specs such as an internal GPS that is powered by Nokia Maps, which allows the user to customize the handset to how they want it to work whether pedestrian navigation or just social networking. The handset also supports microSD cards that will support cards up to 8GB, expected to see the Nokia 3710 fold being retailed for a price of EUR 140 before taxes in the forth quarter of this year.
