AT&T announced that they will carry Dell’s first smartphone in the US, the Dell Aero is a GSM / UMTS version of the Dell Mini 3 .This is an Android handset with a custom interface co-designed by AT&T and Dell. There’s no word on what version of Android the Aero actually runs though, but there’s a bunch of add-ons including social networking applications included in the package. Specifications are pretty vague at the moment, but the Aero does have a 3.5″ 360 x 640 pixel display, 5 megapixel camera, 3G and WiFi support plus built-in GPS.
